Signing up or switching your broadband

If you find a package you like the look of, we can help you get it. It’s straightforward. You can complete your application on our site, with our helping hand.

Then it’s all taken care of for you. You’ll be ready to surf in no time! (Well, OK, it actually takes about three weeks). Your provider will send you any equipment you need, such as a modem and an installation CD.

If you’re switching from your current provider, you’ll get a migration date. The new provider transfers your account using a MAC number that you need to get off your current provider.

If you switch to a cable provider – ntl or telewest – they will organise a time for an engineer to come and install it in your home.

Already in a contract? If you’ve been in a contract for less than 12 months, then you may have to pay a penalty to switch. Check the terms of your current contract to find out.
