You could get a deal for between about £15 and £20 per month for unlimited downloads and a speed of 1MB, sometimes even 2MB. Basically, they're both fast. Most deals include a free modem and some even include a digital TV package.

Most deals require you to sign up to a 12 month contract. If you want a shorter contract you will probably have to pay more, but they are still reasonable and normally just a few pounds more per month than the 12 month contracts. Many providers who offer contracts by the month charge a set up fee, which varies but is normally around £35. But some don’t charge this.
